  1. Wow!

I’ve never heard of the term “Copperhead” nor did I know that our Anthem was written by a Socialist. I’ve heard Anti-Lincoln but only from a Patriots vs NonPats perspective. He’s always been touted at a Great. I have somethings to research and mull over.

Because this podcast starts with the premise of Resistance, I have a related curiosity question if you happen to read this: have you released any YouTube lectures for those of us torn between Ordinary and Extraordinary Forms of the Mass? How to make the transition to E.O or how to overcome some of the unwelcoming comments or attitudes we have experienced? We’re new Catholics so we’re newbies for all of this! Thank you!

    1. I’ll attach a few links for the 1st paragraph you typed. I was in that some boat though.
Judge Napolitano with a brief history of the pledge (notice the original salute) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2GL3InhTxWU
Here is just one of many resources on Lincoln by Thomas DiLorenzo (he has a few books on the topic) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nbFty9nZUac

Great idea and I’ll do one on that topic of transition to the EO and the unwelcoming comments … I’ve had to deal with that too and I ‘usher’ at our parish and had to jab back at a few mad trads that complained about anything. Here’s a Michael Davies lecture in the meantime https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jBwvPX2uSlE

    2. When our family began attending the Tridentine Rite nearly 20 years ago, my husband and I had no memory of it from our babyhoods. The parish we attended had an indult from the local bishop allowing it (which was required at the time) and it was well attended by young and old alike. I don’t think we ever experienced negative treatment, but I know those at my parish who have said they have been ill treated and I have asked them to extend charity to those they feel have not done the same because isn’t that what we are told to do by God? Attend Mass regularly, keeping as full attention as possible on your prayers and the crucifix before you. Go to confession often and make yourself deserving of the Eucharist. Ignore the slights of others. They are of no matter to your salvation.
